Hi! I’m Zoe, your Wrightsville Beach family photographer!

Family photos matter because they freeze the fleeting moments that families are often too busy living to notice. Whether it’s the exhausting 3rd trimester of pregnancy, newborn bliss, or wanting to remember the chaos of today, I’m here to capture those moments for you! Courtney had the classic family photos of everyone looking straight at the camera, and when she came to me, she told me, “I just want you to capture us exactly as we are.” And she was ecstatic when she received her gallery full of love and laughs. I used to be the one dreading family photos because I didn’t understand how important they were. Now, I capture those memories for you!

My Approach

Goofy | Playful | Prompted

I like to prompt rather than pose because being told to stand still and smile just isn’t realistic for most kids. We’re going to play games, tell jokes, share your favorite animal, and everything in between. The kids lead the session! If they have an idea, we’ll do it! If they aren’t into what we’re trying to do, we won’t push it to the point of tears. We’ll simply move on to the next prompt, and possibly try again later in the session. My goal is to capture those sweet, silly, connection filled moments in the most fun way possible.
